Forged in Ruin — Book One of the Runewright Chronicles — is officially out in the world today.

This one’s a bit of a departure from The Idoramin Chroncicles or the Veilwalker’s Lodge stories, so I wanted to give you the heads-up: this is LitRPG. Real skill progression, real failure states, a class the world chose for her instead of the one she wanted — and a reason she never got a say in it. If you love watching a character claw competence out of a system stacked against them, this is going to scratch that itch.

If LitRPG isn’t your usual flavor, no worries at all — the Lodge stories aren’t going anywhere, and there’s more of that world coming. —(A LOT more!)— But if you’re even a little curious what happens when I build an actual game system into a fantasy world instead of just gesturing at magic... this one’s for you.
